Lead by the firm’s current Director of Investment Banking Division and Chief Operating Officer, Edric Guo, and his investors in Commas International Holding, LLC, a Delaware holding company, acquired a stake in Univest Securities, LLC and joined Dr. Ying Cui and her team, as the second generation of owners in the summer of 2017. This marks the starting point of a series of changes which later on better positioned Univest as a full-service investment bank with both retail and institution capabilities.
